Francis W. Blaha, age 74 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at his home in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.

He was born on Dec. 22, 1940 to William and Agnes (Kratche) Blaha and was raised by Frank and Mary Havlik in Hillsboro.  Francis graduated from the Hillsboro High School and served in the U.S. Army.

Francis was united in marriage to Bonnie Jones on May 20, 1995.

He worked for many years as the caretaker of the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.  In addition, he also worked for the Fick Funeral Home and Furniture Store in Hillsboro, delivered newspapers for many years and worked at the Ho-Chunk Casino at Wisconsin Dells.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; children of his heart, Doug (Sherrylynn) Showers, Greg Showers, Brandy Rieck, Lori (David) Voltz, Kenny Jones, Scott Jones and Pat Jones; seventeen grandchildren and a sister, Janice (Brian) Trappe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Havlik; birth parents, William and Agnes Blaha; two sisters, Mary Ann Fanta and Joann Anderson; brother, Donnie Blaha and two infant siblings.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11  a.m. at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro, with Father Don Bauer officiating.  Burial with military rites was in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.  Friends called at the Church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.   The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro assisted the family, for online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
