Fred L. Schlegel, age 58, of Gays Mills, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He was born May 2, 1961 to Donald and Mary Lou (Spangenberg) Schlegel. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycle, playing cards, shooting pool, playing his guitar, and singing. He also enjoyed spending time with nieces, nephews, and family friends. Fred also enjoyed taking care of the family dogs, Daisy and Maggie.

Fred will always be remembered for his famous sayings: “In about 30 minutes the fish should be hammering” and “Oh behave.”

Private services will be held at a later date.
