George E. Hillery, 96, Darlington, found peace on Aug. 30.

 A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Pleasant View Primitive Methodist Church, 12987 Pleasant View Road, Belmont. Rev. Ronald Fladseth officiated. Burial was at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Pleasant View Primitive Methodist Church. Masonic services were held at 12:30 p.m. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
