George J. Pennekamp, 72, of Potosi, Wisconsin, passed quietly at his home on Thursday, December 5, 2024, surrounded by his family after a valiant fight with cancer. Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 14, 2024, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, December 13, 2024, at the church or from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass Saturday at the church.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the Potosi Volunteer Fire Department.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
