Gerie Schulte, rural Cuba City, wife of Gary Schulte, mother of Kim (Pat) Lensing and Curt (Michele) Timlin, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, Aug. 10.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Benton. Father David Flanagan will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4–8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville, where there will be a scripture wake service at 4 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one of Gerie’s favorite charities, Badger Camp or Hospice of Dubuque. The Melby Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
