Gerald Lee Peterson, Janesville, WI and formerly of Soldiers Grove, passed away June 24, 2025 at the age of 82. He had been battling cancer for several months. Gerry graduated from Soldiers Grove High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Navy.

After leaving the Navy he worked at Madison Gas & Electric before enrolling at UW-Madison. Gerry graduated from UW with a Master’s Degree before beginning a career with Portage County Health and Human Services in Stevens Point.
