James R. Linden, age 81, of Darlington, passed away Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born March 4, 1931 in Platteville, the oldest of three sons to Robert and Berniece (Byrnes) Linden. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 15691 County Road K in Darlington with Rev. Kevin Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington, where military graveside rites will be accorded by Bates-O’Brien-Howe-Wiegel-Roelli American Legion Post #214 of Darlington.
