John E. Walters, 80, Platteville, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at his home. 

Private family services were held Tuesday, April 15 at the Melby Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in Cottage Grove at a later date.
