Katie fought a valiant battle for 663 days against a brain tumor. The final 113 days as she knew the end was near she lived each day without complaint & instead made it her mis- sion to use her sarcastic, quirky and uplifting humor to make all who loved her laugh. Katie's battle against brain cancer ended on Thursday, Jan. 10, at home surrounded by her family.

Services in Janesville: Visitation Celebrating Katie -Wednesday, Jan. 16, 4 – 8 p.m. at the Whitcomb Funeral Home in Janesville.
Visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Janesville. A funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Janesville with a luncheon directly following at St. Mary’s church hall in Janesville.

Services in Platteville/Belmont: Visitation Celebrating Katie on Friday, Jan. 18, 4 – 8 p.m. at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home and Crematory in Platteville. Visitation is from 1 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the St Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont. A funeral Mass is at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the St. Philomena Catholic Church, with interment at Belmont Cemetery following Mass and luncheon directly following at St Philomena Catholic Church in Belmont.
