Lawrence I. Gander, age 90, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home in Prairie du Sac on Friday, March 10, 2023.   He was born April 12, 1932 to the late Paul and Dorathy (Chroninger) Gander.  Larry was a graduate of the Soldiers Grove High School; class of 1950.  Following school, Larry enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Greenland during the Korean War; being honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant in 1954.

A Memorial Service for Larry will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at First United Church of Christ, 504 Washington Ave., Sauk City.  A visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until the time of service.   Military Honors will be accorded by the Lachmund Cramer VFW Post 7694 and the Kuoni Reuter American Legion Post 167.  Interment will be held in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery.
