Lonnie L. Nevels, age 69 of Darlington, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. He was born Dec. 25, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of Orville and Audrey (Anderson) Nevels. He lived in the Darlington area most of his life. Lonnie worked for GreenCo Industries in Monroe, for a number of years.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father: Orville; and mother: Audrey.
Lonnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Darlington.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Erickson Funeral Home (508 Main Street, Darlington) with Rev. Nick J. McElrath of First Baptist Church in Darlington officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery.
