Marshall “Skip” Stone, 82, of Platteville, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 25.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30. Monsignor Charles Schluter will officiate. Friends may call from 3 -7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, where there will be a Native American Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. Private family burial will be at a later date.
