Rebecca L. Ross, age 66 of Darlington, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at U. W. Hospital in Madison. She was born on May 26, 1950 in St. James, Minn., the daughter of William and Agnes (Johnson) Ross Sr. She graduated from W. T. Woodson High School in Virginia, and later received her Associates degree. Becky served in the U.S. Air Force, from 1970 thru 1978. After being discharged, she went to work as a Reservist and Civil Service Specialist.
She is survived by her 3 children: Cindi (Aaron) Muck of Charlotte, N.C., Steven Shoemaker of Mineral Point, and Jeff (Casey) Shoemaker of Campo, Calif.; 6 grandchildren: Brayden, E’owyn, Tristan, Justin, Joey and Daniel; 3 brothers: Bill (Marilyn) Ross of Monroe, Robert (Irma) Ross of Annandale, Va., and Brad (C.J.) Ross of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Anderson.
Private family services will be held at Kansas Lake Lutheran Cemetery in Odin, Minn. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
