Richard J. “Dick” Olthafer, 87, Platteville, passed away on Monday, April 9 at ManorCare Health Services in Platteville.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13 at the Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Visitation was from 4–7 p.m. on Thursday April 12 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
