Richard Louis Weygant, 85, of Platteville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Platteville.   Dick was born on July 15, 1928 in Platteville, the son of Clarence and Lela (Smith) Weygant. 

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Rev. Brenda Whitford officiated.  Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery. Military rites were accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.  Friends called from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.  Memorials may be made to the Richard L.
