LANCASTER—Teresa C. “Tess” Day, 49, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. Her happy spirit never wavered as she cheerfully conquered a brain tumor for some of the last 13 years, repeatedly defying the odds.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at St. Clement Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rewey Dietzman Cemetery, Mifflin Township.  Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Clement Church, where a 2:45 p.m. parish scripture service will be held. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church. Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster is assisting the family.
