Timothy C. Turben, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning September 20, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 6, 1977, in Viroqua the son of Stanley and Vicky (Sagmoen) Turben. Tim was united in marriage to Becky Olson on August 4, 2001, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Soldiers Grove.

He adored his family, and loved spending time with his sons, especially going on their Boy Scout Adventures. Grandpa was the best title given to Tim. He looked forward to spending time with Wyatt whenever he could. Tim believed in following your passions in life, being dedicated to his loved ones, and making the best of each day.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife Becky of Stitzer; two sons, Dylan (Abigail) Olson of Fennimore and Derek (fiancé Jayden McCabe) Turben of Stitzer; dear grandson Wyatt Olson; father Stanley Turben of Soldiers Grove; sister Teresa (Kevin) Lord of Waunakee; brother Tracy Turben of Viroqua; mother-in-law Sue Olson of Fennimore; and sister-in-law Danielle (Ned) Witzig of Fennimore; along with many special nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday September 25, 2026, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with burial to follow in Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday September 24, 2026, at funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is be established in loving memory. Immediately following the committal service at the cemetery, the family invites everyone to the Stitzer Bar & Grill for a ‘Celebration of Life’ honoring the life of Timothy C. Turben.
