Vincent J. Abing, 86, Platteville, passed away at home after a brief illness, with his family by his side and the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Memorial services were at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Deacon Bill Bussan officiated. Chapel military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville at a later date.
