Western Technical College Women’s Basketball player Ali Brey, of Hillsboro, has been recognized as the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Southern Division player of the week.

Brey is a second-year Accounting student and plays as a guard for the team. She was recognized for averaging 20 points per game while shooting 40% from beyond the arc in two games last week. Brey also made eight of nine free-throws and had 3.5 rebounds per game and two assists per game for Western.
