It was a light week for the Boscobel volleyball team, which lost at Iowa-Grant on Tuesday to continue its winless season.
The Panthers cruised to a 25-11, 25-17, 25-10 SWAL victory over the Bulldogs.
It was Boscobel's only meet of the last week.
Of the Panthers, Bulldogs coach Jeff Ostheimer said, "They served extremely well and really kept us off-balance. We just couldn't get any offense going."
Early on, Boscobel looked good offensively.
"We did pass the ball well early in the match," said Ostheimer.
But, on defense, the Panthers were able to get to most balls and transition into a potent offense.
Leading the way for Boscobel was Bri Wagner, who had three kills and four assists.
Nicole Pegrem compiled a team-high four kills for the Bulldogs, while Kelsey Trumm and Beth Imhoff had four digs apiece.
Kelsey Trumm served up an ace for Boscobel, and Ali Krogen dished out two assists.
It'll be a much busier week for the Bulldogs in the days ahead, with a dual SWAL match at home against Southwestern on Thursday, a tournament at Kickapoo on Saturday and a dual match at Fennimore on Tuesday.
