Senior Brian Halverson  and junior Kyle Soderstrom placed third at 152 pounds and 220 pounds respectively to lead the Iowa–Grant/Highland wrestling team to a tied for eighth place at Saturday’s 20-team Sparta Invitational.
     Shania Sarbacker (106), Luke Nowak (160) and Cody Rider (182) each finished fourth for the Panthers.
     Edgar won the team title with 136.5 points, while host Sparta finished second with 122.5 points.
     Last Tuesday the Iowa–Grant co-op fell to 3–8 overall and 3–2 in SWAL duals with a 37–33 loss to Darlington/Black Hawk.
     The Darlington co-op picked up a trio of forfeits, at 170, 195 and 285, which proved to be the difference in the dual.
