Senior Kyle Mezera and junior David Chadd both extended their season record to 22-2, Mezera winning the 126-pound title, and Chadd the 182-pound title.

Mezera, who has won his weight class at the Lancaster Invite for four years now, was named the Most Valuable Wrestler of Saturday’s event.

Mezera won by major decision (11-2) over John Roddick (23-6) of Sparta in his championship match, while Chadd defeated Niko Anderson (20-1) of Fillmore Central, 7-1, to win his title.

Making it to the championships, but losing a 10-4 decision to Brock Polhamus of Sparta was Lancaster sophomore Dustin Reynolds (18-7), while junior Tyson Wolf (17-9) placed fourth at 120 pounds.

Last Thursday night in a conference dual meet with visiting Belmont/Platteville, the Arrows sent the Braves home with a 54-24 loss.
