Grant Regional Health Center Auxiliary awards four scholarships

Each year the Grant Regional Health Center Auxiliary awards four scholarships worth $3,000. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be going full time into a health related field at a two year or four year institution. This past year there were many applicants who applied for the scholarships. A special thanks to John Pluemer, Dori Hopkins Studnika and Marlene Klein who are the scholarship committee members, for reading each application and selecting the recipients.
The recipients of the $1,000 scholarships this past year were Brooke Becwar from Cassville, who is attending Clarke University in the nursing program. Morgan Gunderson from Fennimore, who is attending Concordia University in Wisconsin in the occupational therapy program.
The recipients of the $500 scholarships were Molly Breuer from Glen Haven, who is attending SWTC in the medical assistant program. Amanda Springborn from Potosi, who is attending SWTC in the medical assistant program.
We are always fortunate to have such outstanding students applying for these scholarships.
