Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative presented scholarships for $500 at their annual meeting on April 9. Two area students received this award. They are:
Tiffany Junk
Tiffany is the daughter of Richard and Cheryl Junk, and she has lived on a dairy farm in Cassville her entire life, where she has acquired many skills and responsibilities. During school at Cassville High School, she has participated in many sporting events throughout her four year, including volleyball, basketball, track and softball. Being a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, FFA and St. Charles Youth Group has kept her very busy throughout the school years and summers.
She is currently employed at Orchard Manor as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She will be attending Clarke University this fall for their nursing program, which she hopes to pursue a career in.
Clara White
She is the daughter of Martin and Susan White and attends Potosi High School. She plans on attending UW-Eau Claire pursing a degree in pediatric nursing or elementary education.
