The Southwest Tech Foundation announces that Glen Haven resident Holly White is the proud recipient of the Glen E. Cohen Memorial Nursing Scholarship. 
Jim Reiser established the Glen E. Cohen Memorial Nursing Scholarship in memory of Glen, his friend and partner in life. Glen dedicated his life to helping people through his work in the healthcare industry and by opening his heart and home to those in need. Glen wished for a scholarship to be created to help students pursuing a career in nursing.
White, a student in Southwest Tech’s Nursing-Associate Degree program, appreciates the opportunity the College provides her in achieving her education goals in a rural setting without having to leave southwest Wisconsin.
“Southwest Tech has shaped my career and goals. I feel like they want students to achieve their best and are willing to help students get to their top potential,” White stated. “Southwest Tech helped me realize that nursing was my career path, when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I also feel like Southwest Tech is a community-based college and will help me make my contribution back to the community a reality.”
