Herb and Pat Baumgartner, Gratiot, celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 28, 2011.
Herb and the former Patti Erickson were married Oct. 28, 1961, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gratiot.
Their children are David Baumgartner of South Wayne, Steve (Chrissy) Baumgartner of Oak Creek, John (Kristin) Baumgartner of Beloit, Mary (Dan) Monson of Wiota and Jim (Brandi) Baumgartner of South Wayne.
They have 12 grandchildren, one deceased grandson, Brett Baumgartner, two step grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate with a family dinner on Oct. 29 at Flannery’s Wilhelm Tell Club in New Glarus where their wedding dance was held 50 years ago.
