Dave and Sue Niehaus will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 14. Susan Nelson of Montfort and David Niehaus of Platteville were united in marriage on Oct. 14, 1972 at Castle Rock Lutheran Church in rural Fennimore.
They celebrated their 40th anniversary on Sept. 23 with a dinner at Village Bar and Restaurant in Kieler. They were joined by their children, Joseph of Dickeyville, Nathan of Platteville, Jennifer (Jason) Digman of Dickeyville and Nicholas (Natalie Fernandez) of Platteville. They were also joined by their grandchildren, Pfc. Adam Niehaus of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Alexander, Kimberly and Kaitlynn Niehaus of Platteville; James, Jayden, Jacey and Jarron Digman of Dickeyville; and Benjamin and Isabelle Niehaus of Dubuque, Iowa.
Dave is the fire inspector for the City of Platteville and Sue has worked full-time in the business office at Southwest Health Center in Platteville for 34-1/2 years.
