Amanda Lawson, daughter of Patricia and Darwin Lawson of Darlington, is engaged to Aaron Geffre, son of Anita and Randy Geffre of Mound City, S.D. 

Amanda is strategic communications specialist at Platinum Supplemental Insurance in Dubuque, Iowa. Aaron is an engineer at John Deere - Dubuque Works in Dubuque, Iowa.

The couple will be wed on July 11 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dubuque, Iowa.
