Kara Ellen Martin, daughter of Randy and Debbie Martin of Bagley, and Connor Ross Finley, son of Paul and Debbie Finley of Earlville, Ill. are to be married on Aug. 17.
    The ceremony will held at Oak Hill Weddings in Apple River, Illinois.
    Kara graduated in 2007 from River Ridge High School and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education. She is currently a second grade teacher at Earlville. Connor graduated from Serena High School in 2006 and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2010 with a degree in business marketing. He is currently farming on his family farm in Earlville. The couple resides near Ottawa, Ill.
