Mr. and Mrs. John McCullick, Readstown, announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Rose to Michael Scott Knutson, West Salem, son of Lisa and Mike Novak and the late Scott Knutson, Sparta.

Area grandparents are the late Ron and Mary Hirschfield, Readstown, Arnold and Jackie McCullick, Mt. Zion, Frances Haas, Sparta and the late Donald Haas and Janice and Ole Knutson, Sparta. Melissa is the great-granddaughter of Myrna McCullick, Boscobel and the late Leland McCullick.

A small private wedding is planned for October 15, 2016 with a dance following at Old Oak Inn, Soldiers Grove.
