In July and August, employees of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office operated brat/burger stands in Fennimore, Cuba City, Lancaster and Platteville to raise money for Wisconsin Badger Camp. The Grant County Deputy Sheriff’s Association donated $2,300 to Wisconsin Badger Camp. Donations for the fundraiser came from Bloomington Meats, Car Quest of Fennimore, Carr Valley Cheese, Donnie’s Tire and Tow, Dr. Pepper (Thomas Furrer), Fennimore Butcher Shop, Grant–Iowa Tavern League, Hauber’s, Heiser Hardware, H. James & Son Construction, Kwik Trip, R.J. Schinner Company (Michael Hunt), Second Shot Saloon, Thompson’s IGA, Tim Slack Auction and Realty, Walmart, Walker’s Clothing and Shoes, and Weber’s Processing.
