The Grant County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of damaged alfalfa on Southwest Road in the Town of Platteville.

Someone drove through several acres of freshly seeded alfalfa in the 1600 block of Southwest Road, causing several thousand dollars in damage, the sheriff’s department reported.

The damage was reported Friday evening.
