A 67-year-old Cuba City man was arrested on Oct. 6 after police conducted a search warrant of his home on south Main Street in Cuba City.

According to Cuba City Police Chief Terry Terpstra, the home of Richard T. Geasland was searched and a “significant” amount of child pornography was found.

“In all of my years in law enforcement, this is the worst case I’ve dealt with for the material and what is involved,” Terpstra said.

The Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) assisted the six-hour search. Geasland was arrested and transported to the Grant County jail. The investigation is ongoing.
