Tools stolen from rural farm building

A Fluke multimeter is among tools stolen sometime between Feb. 12-March 15 from a rural Hillsboro farm building. The multimeter is used to test electricity.

Vernon County Crime Stoppers and the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in recovering tools stolen during a recent burglary in the rural Hillsboro area.

Sometime between Feb. 12-March 15, a farm building on Co. Road F between Tower and Kraemer roads northwest of Hillsboro was burglarized.  Stolen were miscellaneous tools including wrenches, socket sets, screw drivers, drill bits, and an air compressor.

One of the tools was a Fluke multimeter, which is used for testing electricity.
