Platteville principal, nurse, teacher to retire

The Platteville School Board approved three retirements Monday night.

The highest ranking retirement is Don Shaw, principal at Westview Elementary School.

Shaw has been with the school district since 1992. He previously was principal at Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center, and served as principal of Neal Wilkins and Westview for part of the 2013–14 school year.

Mary K. Logemann is retiring as school nurse after 25 years in the school district and 34 years in nursing. Logemann was the Lancaster School District nurse before coming to Platteville.

Pam Pundsack is retiring as elementary art teacher after 15 years with the school district. She was a middle and high school art teacher for six years before moving to the elementary schools in 2007. She also was the PMS musical/drama set director for 14 years.
