It donates four cartons of Kleenex tissues to Hillsboro schools

As the winter cold season trudges on, noses are running over at the Hillsboro schools.  To help with the situation, the Hillsboro Woman’s Civic Club has donated four cartons – that’s 72 large boxes – of Kleenex tissues.

“The Civic Club is always proud to support our schools,” said Woman’s Civic Club President Wendy Manser.

“Although the children bring in boxes at the beginning of the year, we start running our about this time of year,” said Cara Wood, Hillsboro Elementary School principal.

The boxes will be shared with the elementary, junior and senior high. Many places in all buildings, such as the library, music and art rooms, and even the offices that need to have tissues available for the students.
