PLATTEVILLE — City ordinances are now easily accessible by going online to the City of Platteville’s website, www.platteville.org.

More than 80 ordinances are listed on the newly created webpage.

The City of Platteville City Ordinance webpage has ordinance indexes for those the Common Council approved in 2009, 2010 and 2011. All ordinances the Council has passed in 2012 are also listed.

The index includes each ordinance number and a short description. Each ordinance number is linked to the PDF file of the city’s official paperwork, providing the detailed information on the ordinance.

Links to the City Ordinance webpage can be found under Quick Links on the right hand side of the City’s homepage, under the City Depts. tab, on the City Manager and City Clerk’s web pages and also on the site map. The city’s website has undergone renovations the past few months and added a lot of features in the hopes of making communicating information to the community easier. Some of those include construction updates, zoning and parking maps, current news from City Hall, upcoming events and notices, a volunteer page, a Facebook page, and foursquare and Twitter accounts.
