Next week’s anticipated operations (April 5 thru April 9):
road work
  • Bridge to Ann Street:
    • Continue pavement and sidewalk removal on the east side of Main St
      • Sidewalk next to buildings will remain in place for pedestrians
    • Pipe crews will mobilize to start installing water main and sanitary sewer in front of Casey’s
      • Tuesday, April 6th thru Friday, April 9th – flaggers controlling Main St traffic for crews to install water & sewer across the west side north of the bridge - expect delays
      • No water service disruptions anticipated next week
    • Alice St access to/from Main St will remain CLOSED all week
      • Access to Casey’s will remain open to/from Alice St, just east of the barricades

 

  • Ann Street to Harriet Street:
    • Monday, April 5th – Remove street lights on the east side of Main St
    • Contractor planning to leave pavement in place for a couple weeks while pipe crews work from the bridge up to Ann St

 

  • Harriet Street to Minerva Street:
    • Tree removal
      • WIS 23 will be CLOSED early next week for tree removal only
      • Barricades will be staggered to maintain local access to properties within the work zone only
      • When tree removal is completed, this section will be re-opened
    • Access to Lucy St & Washington St on east side of WIS 23 may CLOSE for crews to start working on sanitary sewer in this area

 

  • River Street intersection south of the bridge:
    • Crew may start removing pavement at the intersection Tuesday or Wednesday
      • Flaggers controlling traffic at the intersection – expect delays
      • East River St access to/from WIS 23 will be CLOSED
