Salvation Army seeks bell-ringers
Placeholder Image

The Grant County Service Unit of the Salvation Army is asking community members to assist in the Salvation Army’s bell-ringing campaign.

Funds collected are used to assist Grant County residents with emergency lodging, evictions, gas or electric shutoffs, medical and emergency transportation issues, school supplies, food and other emergency needs.

Grant County raised $14,381.79 last year, and the Service Unit is hoping to do even better in 2012 to keep up with the increased number of requests for assistance to Grant County residents.
