Al Pierce passed away June 22, 2017, in the early morning hours from complications of COPD.  He went peacefully in his sleep in his own bed thanks to the wonderful care from the caregivers at Tender Heart Hospice Care.

Al didn’t want a funeral, and opted for cremation.  If you are so inclined, instead of flowers or food, please consider matching his donation to The Folds of Honor Organization which funds scholarships for dependents of disabled and deceased veteran’s. A Celebration of Al’s Life will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017, 2500 Club, 2500 E. Belknap, Fort Worth, TX 76111, Memorial Poker Run 12 Noon to 3 p.m. Live Music by Birthright Blues Project 4 – 6 p.m. Proceeds to benefit Folds of Honor per Al’s request.
