Andrew “Andy” Schlarmann, 63, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Unity Point-Finley Hospital with his best friend and wife at his side.

Friends may greet the family from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Hoffmann Schneider Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1640 Main Street, Dubuque, where a Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. Rev. Dianne Grace will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.

Memorials may be made to the Veteran’s Freedom Center, Dubuque or to the Green Island Nature Center.
