Anson J. “A J” Sheldon, 83, of Livingston, formerly of Platteville, died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at the VA Hospital, Madison. 

Memorial services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Chapel military rites were accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274.  Burial was at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville.  Friends called from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday or after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Anson Sheldon Memorial Fund.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com
