Barbara A. McCluskey, age 75 years, of Elroy, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI.

She was born on Feb. 28, 1938 to Raymond and Edith Litz in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Barbara was united in marriage to Joseph McCluskey on Jan.  22, 1971 in Richland Center.  They farmed in the Yuba / Fox Ridge area for several years prior to moving to Elroy where they have resided for about 15 years.  He preceded her in death on October 11, 2011.  She loved to cook and go dancing and enjoyed lottery scratch off tickets.

Survivors include her children, Linnea Hicks of Elroy, Scott (Tracy) Hoffman of Grand Marsh, Vicki Zilisch of Elroy, Tracy McCluskey of Hillsboro, Joseph (Dena) McCluskey Jr. of Elroy and Michael McCluskey of Hillsboro; twenty-one Grandchildren; twelve Great Grandchildren; sisters, Faye Martin, Sherry (Warren) Fox and Janice Young; brothers, Raymond (Pearl) Litz, Lawrence (Barbara) Litz, Walter Litz, Robert Young, Valient (Joann) Litz, Edward Litz, Kevin Litz, Billy Ray Litz and Terry Litz; and a step brother, Tom Galbraith.

In addition to her husband, Joseph; she was preceded in death by her Parents; an infant daughter, Penny; and brothers, Gary Litz, Danny Litz, Jimmy Litz and Ronald Young.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy.  Burial was  in the Forest-Burr Cemetery near Hillsboro.  Friends called at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.  For online information go to www.pichafuneralhomes.com
