Barbara J. (Montgomery) Benson, 79 of Galena, Ill. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at Galena Stauss Senior Care Community. She was born Sept. 15, 1936 in Galena the daughter of Everett and Viola (Krohmer) Montgomery.

Funeral service was at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery, Galena. Friends called from 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel.
