Carolyn M. Burns, age 72 of Darlington, died on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Southwest Health in Platteville.  She was born on April 30, 1942 in Darlington to Michael and Theresa (Taschek) Chenchik. 

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, with Fr. Tom Coyle officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date at Holy Rosary Cemetery.  Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on Friday prior to the funeral at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  The Steil Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, is serving the family. 
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials would be preferred.
