Award winning designer, admired educator, esteemed mentor and treasured friend Donald J. Childs died on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 from complications following surgery.

He was the chair of the Southwest region of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology. He was a member of USITT, IATSE-USA 829, and IAAM.
Don Childs and his family (Childs and Clark) are all from the Boscobel area.
There will be a family celebration in Boscobel on the afternoon of April 15, 2012.
