Elizabeth J. “Betty” Parkinson, 82, of Darlington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington.

A mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet St, Darlington, a branch of Our Lady of Fatima Parish with Rev. John Bosco Pudhota officiating.  A “family remembrance” was shared at 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial was in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Friday, Nov. 27, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Erickson-Steil Funeral Home (206 E. Harriet St, Darlington) where a rosary was prayed at 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
