Irvin A. Bartels, age 91, of Darlington, passed away, Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born September 15, 1922 in Belmont, the son of Herman and Bertha (Heins) Bartels.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1302 Clay Street in Darlington with Rev. Jeffrey M. Tomberlin officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Main Street in Darlington.
