James M. “Charlie” Runde, 64, Platteville, died on Friday, March 4 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Visitation was from 3–8 p.m. Monday, March 7 at the funeral home. There was a scripture wake service at 2:45 p.m. Visitation continued from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.  Memorials may be made to the James “Charlie” M. Runde Memorial Fund.
