Kevin Kerl, age 54, of Janesville, passed away in Hillsboro, WI on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, as a result of an ATV accident.

He was born on Dec. 9, 1960, in Janesville, the son of Judith Mislivecek and the late Thomas Kerl. Kevin attended Parker High School and was united in marriage to Sandra Martin on Sept. 24, 1994. He worked at Accudyne, Parker Pen, SSI/Bourns and Oscar Mayer, and was presently employed as an engineering manager at Electronic Technologies International, Inc. in Fort Atkinson. He was also attending school online to earn a Bachelor of Science degree, which he would have received in August 2016. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Kevin loved spending family time at his log cabin in the woods with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family, neighbors, and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kerl; three sons: Joshua (Lexi Essen) Kerl, Dan (Ashlee) Kerl and Andrew Kerl all of Janesville; five grandchildren: Kai, Rylee, Mady, Aidan and Ashdan; mother, Judith (Mel) Mislivecek of Janesville; brother, Steven Kerl of Columbia City, IN; sister, Jan Kerl of Janesville; mother-in-law, Sharon Martin; sister-in-law, Susan Martin; uncle, Ted Haugen; niece, Kara (Travis) Preston; and beloved yellow lab, Katie. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Jeff Tomberlin officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME. For on-line condolences and registry: www.schneiderfuneraldirectors.com
